What do I do with all my cards?

Eulanda wondered what I do with all the cards I make. Honestly, I stockpile most of them! LOL! I just so enjoy the process of creating the cards that most of the time I am not thinking about where they are going; once in a while they have an intended recipient but not usually. I have a great sister in law that loves my cards so she often gets them for gifts (hopefully she doesn't read this post!). I also send them to my good friend who lives out of town either as gifts or as a 'just because'. Now I pose the question to all of you, what do you do with all of your cards???

Each of my cards is like a child to me... I hoard all of them and only give them to people that I really heart! It has to be the perfect card for them and only them... I'm kinda picky that way!

My DH gets mine! He is a school principal and is ALWAYS sending notes to people. He loves getting the cards to use. So if you really need something to do with yoru cards, give them to your local school or nursing home!

Up until the last few months I have never had time to play. They always had an intention of being sent to someone. Now they are in a box waiting for a reason to be mailed to make someone's day other then an occasion. Ie. bday, xmas cards, etc.

My cards are usually put to one side for special people's birthdays, and the others - of which there are loads!!! after the demonstrations and workshops I do! - go either to Springer Spaniel Rescue for them to sell on for their own profits, or to SOS, which is a charity I belong to, and they send them onto the Servicemen and women out in the field.

This gives me a little satisfaction that I am doing some good in my life.

Love jo xx

I just add the cards I make to my stash, but they are for sale. I keep them in a really pretty basket on the table in my living room, so that when friends and family visit, they can go thru and select the ones they would like to purchase.

I bought some pretty plastic card and I am making "sets" for my friends for Christmas (most of my friends do not stamp or craft). I also take them as hostess gifts when we are invited somewhere. I think I will start donating them to retirement homes~I think it would be nice for older people not to have to buy cards! (Actually, I go this idea form Hope.)

LOL I do the same thing! Many times I just get together a variety of cards, put some clear envies or invitation envies with them and tie them with a ribbon for a gift. I do use my cards to give away as well and keep the ones I know I will use, but the rest get sent to friends or family I know will use them ^_~ I think the ideas here of donating them are great though! Maybe I should do that too!
