What a week!

Ok so I have to tell everyone this. So far this week is turning out to be a fabulous one! It all started with receiving the wonderful blog candy winnings last week from Lynn. Then Sparkle informed me that I won the $20 gift certificate from Stampingbella (yes I have spent it already! LOL!), for the Bella Bash challenge. It doesn't stop there...then Gloria over at SCS featured me as one of her favorites the past week. Now today I just saw my name mentioned in the Flourishes newsletter! Can you believe it! So exciting! I am so honored both from Gloria and Flourishes. Now to top all of that off, it is my birthday this Friday, can you think of a better way to top off all of this fabulous stuff!!!

Thinking of You Jammybella

The second challenge in tonight's Bella Bash was to create a card about someone that you are greatful for (besides spouse). I made this for my SIL who is one of my Best Friends. Her and I get along great, and she knows me so well. For my bday last year she got me some nice fuzzy slippers and housecoat because she knows I live in my jammies.

Also we are to say which embellishement we are greatful for. Hmmm I would have to say liquid glass and foam squares (if they count!) as I use them all the time! Next would be Dots!

I have fun flocked the teddy bear and the slippers.

I Heart U

I managed to squeeze in another card. I was ready to go to bed early but thought I would try one more attempt at a card. It has been a good day! This is Jen's sketch: I kept putting the sketch aside as I struggled with the circles. I tried flowers, snowflakes, cupcakes and a few other things but nothing 'worked' for me. I walked away, was going to go to bed when while I was having a drink of water it came to my, why not try a' i heart u'. It just kept going and going from there! Hopefully hubby appreciates all the work that went into it! (I'm sure he won't have any idea! LOL!). I sponged the edges of some papers with Bamboo and Desert Sand ink. All supplies are from CTMH except flourish stamp.

A Chai with a friend

I found this sketch here. I used my new Flourishes stamp A Coffee With Friends ( I resisted it for a long time, but finally gave in!). I have loved this set since I first saw it but I am not a coffee drinker so I resisted as long as I could. You can see by the sentiment that I altered it a bit and substituted the word chai instead. Now I love it!
Stamps: Coffee With Friends (Flourishes); 'chai' (Daisy d's ?)
Paper: Notebook level 2,

Three Down three to go.

Celebrate

This is my card for this weeks SCS sketch challenge. I wasn't sure at first what I wanted to do with the sketch, looked at a bunch of my stamps but nothing really spoke to me! I finally decided to try and ink up this new Flourishes set. I stamped the wine bottle and glasses on vellum and colored with my copics. otherwise pretty simple. The sentiment is on foam squares. I first stamped the frame (Annotations from CTMH) then the sentiment (Flourishes). The paper is again Perfect Day (CTMH)
