Lots of Unity today

Time for another Friends With Flair and of course being Friday it is also Get Sketchy Time.

I was inspired by the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger:

For my card I used the March KOM from Unity.

For this next card I used Tiffany's sketch:

And again I inked up the March KOM:

I used my new Bella Blvd Family Dynamix (I won it from the Bella Blvd release) and made a simple card.  The twine is from The Twinery.  This is also for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge - flowers.

I just love the papers so much I had to make another card with them.  The sentiment is again from Unity, twine from The Twinery.

Be sure to start at the Unity blog and visit all participants, if you find the hidden blinkie, you might win some free stamps.

Comforting to Know

I really like the Etsy Inspired challenge this week, so many pretty flowers as inspiration!

I also incorporated the Fab 'N' Funky challenge - Shabby Chic and used some October Afternoon paper along with a My Time Made Easy Stamp.  The sentiment is from PTI

Last Chance

Now is the last day to submit to the sketch challenge over at Your Scrapbook Stash!
You can read about it here!
You are supposed to use one of the sketches from the designer gallery.

Just a Little Something

I was inspired by this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge:

I also used the colors of the Jay Gees Nook challenge:

I used a page from a Maya Road canvas album and made a gift card holder - of course this one is for a Starbuck's GC.  I also incorporated the There She Goes Challenge - no markers (easy for me, I like paper piecing).  The stamp is from TSG and is called Let's Get Together.  I used an old sweater as the 'coffee sleeve'.

Woot, woot

Woo hoo, I am featured on Paper Crafts today!  Check it out!

Sew Proud of you

While I was digging through my old Cosmo Cricket paper for the layout below, I decided to use up some more of my paper, so I whipped up this card.  The sentiment is from Gina K all else is Cosmo Cricket.

Homegrown

I wanted to play with this sketch from Design Dollies:

I scanned this photo of Jaimee the other day.  I love this photo of her.  She always concentrated on her 'jobs' and made sure she did them right... she did not have a lot of imagination for pretend play, she would much rather do something when she was young.  Always with that look of concentration.

I am slowly (very slowly) getting through my old stash of paper.  Problem is... I keep getting more 'old' paper, hehehe!  Some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety, perfect for this picture.  I used my Country Life Cricut cartridge.

Some more For the Record

So after making the Spring card below with my For The Record papers I decided to see if I could use them for other seasons and this is what I came up with.  Now I really don't have a lot of it left!

On this one I cut the leaf with my Tim Holtz sizzix die from the pattern paper and a restaurant coaster and adhered together to make my own chipboard item.

And a Halloween card, recognize the sketch?  It is one of the Paper Crafts ones that was out awhile ago.  I cut the spider with my Slice Spook Alley cartridge.

I am happy with what I was able to create with the For the Record kit, so many options.  My favorite paper has got to be the newsprint background.

Happy Spring

My second post for today, be sure to scroll for the Wee Memories challenge.

I am so in the mood for spring... if only we would get some sunshine instead of spring rain.  Anyhow I decided to play with my Cricut to make a Spring themed card for a few challenges.  The Kraft Journal challenge - spring;  Die cuttin Divas - gardening (I used the Walk in My Garden cartridge for the Wheelbarrow and Plantin Schoolbook for the grass); Cricut Circle challenge - Just Because; I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday even though I am late.  The paper is bits and pieces from my For the Record paper by Echo Park, I don't have much of it left.  The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.  I put the wheelbarrow on with foam squares for some dimension.

Time to Get Together

Time for another Wee Memories challenge and this week we are sponsored by My Favorite Things.

I used a sketch from Tiffany (finally, I have been meaning to since she started!)

I had some scraps from my Teresa Collins Posh kit from Your Scrapbook Stash so I used them.  I also used the Newsprint background from PTI.  I love these A la Modes stamps from My Favorite Things, I have 3 and will be getting more!  I have used the Take Time one on this card.  Don't you love her paper pieced pants, I want some!  This is also for the Scrapbookers Paradise Ponderings challenge - I was inspired by the rosebuds and the trees (kraft paper)

Pretty Simple

My third post for today, can you tell I'm enjoying Spring Break, hehehe.  Now to go finish cleaning my room, (I have repainted it this week) and perhaps go for a run.

I used this weeks sketch from Sketchy Thursdays:

Bo Bunny's challenge this week is to scrap what's in your purse.  So I took some pics and went to work with the Ad Lib line.  Not much to scrap for me, my purse is pretty simple.  If course some bits of twine sprinkled on it, ;)

Everyday Life

My second post for today, be sure to scroll for my Get Sketchy card.

It is my day over at the Scrap Shotz blog for the Fabulous Friday post.

The challenge this week is a Blueprint challenge and I borrowed this sketch from Liz at The Scrappiest.

I used the new Bo Bunny Ad Lib collection for this layout, what a fun collection!  I think it is perfect for some of the teen pictures that I have to scrap.  I also used some mini Glitz letter stickers and some twine from The Twinery.  The journaling spots are from Shabby Chic Crafts.  This is also for the Sketches in Thyme challenge
I would love it if you played along.  Be sure to link up at the Scrap Shotz blog.

Under The Weather

Time for another Get Sketchy challenge and this week we are sponsored by Amber Ink.

I flipped the sketch and then had some fun with it.  I mixed a bunch of different Bella Blvd papers which I think pair up nicely with this Rainy Day Image.  The sentiment is from Unity.  Are you noticing a spring/rain theme on my blog lately, hehehe.  Love spring, could do without the rain right now though.

April Showers

My second post for today, be sure to scroll for my layout using the same papers.

Well you had to know that I would do something with those pretty scraps left over from the layout posted below.  While the scraps were out I decided to make a card based on Regina's (from The Cutting Cafe) Monthly inspiration challenge for the DT - to make a shaped card.

I incorporated the Paper Variety Challenge - I used spring colors, flowers and scallops.

For my card I used the Rain Boots shaped card along with the Rain Rain Go Away set.  Now aren't these the cutest boots ever!  I would love to own a pair like this, so now I am on the lookout, hehehe.  This is also for the Crazy Challenge - shaped card and the I Did it Creations challenge - spring.  The paper is Sassafras Lass, Sweetly Smitten.

Fishing with Grandpa

I love this sketch from Papercraft Star so I had to play:

In my March Kit from Your Scrapbook Stash, along with the Teresa Collins Posh papers I was sent some of the yummy Sweetly Smitten papers from Sassafras Lass, which are so pretty and girly too, love them.  I actually never thought I would use them with a fishing layout but the colors were perfect for scrapping this picture of Jaimee taken a few years ago.  I cut the fish with the Making Memories Bon Appetit cartridge and the clouds are with a Spellbinders die.  I also have some Elle's Studio and Shabby Chic Crafts journaling tags and some SRM Design Stickers.
