Just a Note

Time for another Ribbon Carousel Challenge and the theme this week is Anything Goes.

I didn't have a lot of creating time lately so I went for a CAS card (seem to be doing more and more of these).  Some Bella Blvd paper and a SRM Sticker.

Just a Note

Time for another Wee Memories challenge.  The challenge this week is to be inspired by Etsy or Pinterest - easy and fun!

Our sponsor this week is May Arts.

I used this sketch from Tiffany:

I used this image I found on Pinterest and was inspired byt the music sheet roses and the colors.

I used some scrap Music paper that I got for free.  All the background stamps are from Carte Postale from Unity the sentiment is also from Unity.  I stamped the sentiment on a piece of twill that I saved that was wrapped around a pair of pajamas that I got.  Lots of upcycling on this card!  The twine is May Arts.  I cut the tags with my Sizzix and the leaves are cut using my Nested Leaves Nestabilities.  This is also for Laurie's Pinterest challenge.

Peace

I finally played along with the Jingle Bells challenge.  This week the challenge is to include 3 (or more) pattern papers.  One of mine (the label) is cut from the packaging.  All the pattern paper and such are from Making Memories Noel paper.

hello

I am really loving Chupa's sketches.  Here is this weeks:

I used my Cosmo Cricket Social Club paper and a old pair of jeans that I grew out of (shall I say shrunk out of).  I made this for the Create challenge this week, to incorporate denim onto a card.

Just a card

yep... just a card, no challenges.. just me playing around with some of my stuff.  I used my Fancy Pants - It's The Little Things along with some Twine.  A simple card.  I think I may use it for our anniversary card in August.

Summer Days

I love this sketch at Creative Scrappers this week, so I had to play:
This is also another entry to this weeks JUGS challenge (rainbow colors).  I used my Echo Park Summer Days paper, chipboard and stickers.  How fun.  I have also used a tag from Pretty Little Studio, chipboard from Maya Road, a sticker from SRM Stickers and some twine from The Twinery.

Oh my, what a day!  I have a layout featured on the Cosmo Cricket blog!!!

Featured Project!

Woo hoo my card is the featured project at 2 Peas!  Thanks Tiffany for the info!

Happy Birthday Jessica

Welcome to the Birthday Blog Hop.  Today we are surprising Jessica Knutsen of There She Goes with a Blog Hop to celebrate her birthday.  If you have arrived from Katie's blog you are on the right track, if not you may want to start at Angela's blog and hop all the way through to see the fab creations.

I was inspired by this sketch challenge at Lily Pad Cards:

The challenge at TSG this week is easel cards so I played along with that too.  I have used some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety along with the My Little Friend Set.  I made the grass with some twine from The Twinery.

Your next stop is Lisa's blog.

Don't forget to stop over at Jessica's blog to wish her a happy birthday.

Did you get the memo?

So I have done several report cards and a 9K run so I decided to play again.  I guess I should really clean my house... although there is always tomorrow too ;)  Please scroll as I have posted a lot today - that is what happens when the rest of the family is watching hockey...  My MTME post is here, my Scrap Shotz challenge is here

I wanted to play along with the City Crafter challenge - stripes and polka dots:

And this is also good for the Lawnscaping Challenge - polka dots

I used the sketch from Clean & Simple:

I dug out some old PTI papers for this one.  The main panel is mounted on foam squares.  Of course a bit of twine from The Twinery too.  The sentiment and heart are from the Just My Type Too stamp set.

There's only one like you

Ok so I played, now I better do some cleaning, report cards and a run.  Perhaps I'll be back later.  This is my third post for today so be sure to scroll!

I used this weeks Sasya's Sketches:
The inspiration from this weeks Cupcake inspirations challenge - I picked out the blues, pinks, white and green.

I was also inspired by this weeks Tuesday Trigger:

For my card I dug out my Sweetly Smitten papers by Sassafras, I so love these papers, they allow me to do a CAS Shabby chic ;)  I also used my Nested Leaves Nestabilities (which I stamped with the Unity Definition background stamp), a Heartfelt Creations stamp and a Cosmo Cricket Gluber (these are so fun!)  I used an old sheet to make my flower, thus this fits the Fab'N'Funky challenge - create your own blooms.

Woodgrain dad

My second post for today please scroll for my MTME challenge card.

It is my week for the card challenge over at the Scrap Shotz forum and my challenge is woodgrain.  Here is the card I came up with. It is also for the Little Red Wagon challenge - trees; If the Shoe Fits - CAS; the Catch the Bug challenge - dads and the DYSU challenge - green, blue and white

UR #1 Dad

Time for another Pretty Palette challenge from MTME:

I used the Mojo Monday sketch:

I used some of my Basic Grey Wanderer paper and chipboard along with the sentiment from the new For Dad set.  The main DAD letters have been printed out and mounted on foam squares.  This is also for the Catch the Bug Challenge.

Echo Park Playground - so fun!

I got my DT package from Your Scrapbook Stash and in it was some (well lots) of Echo Park.  I just received it on Thursday and couldn't wait to play.  I used the Playground paper pack for today's projects.   It was just PERFECT for these old photos I had just waiting to be scrapped!

For my first layout I used the Twisted Sketch (twist - play)

Here is my layout of Danica at 2.  She was so independent, and wanted to do everything on her own.  We were always being told, "No help me".  She scared us many times, she was a monkey, a daredevil but did know her limits.  For this layout and the next one, I cut the banners from a sheet of the pattern paper attached some of the banners with foam dots, sewed along the top and curled some of them up for dimension.  The talking bubble is mounted on foam squares.

For the next layout I used the Inspired Blueprints sketch for this week:

Another old photo of Danica (boy do I miss those days - well except for the temper tantrums!)  We were at a  Company picnic when she fell asleep in the tire swing.  It was so cute! I used my Cricut to cut the scallop border and the grass.  Again I used some of the banner paper and I love the tree sticker.  I added a bit of twine on top of the sticker for a bit of dimension.

Finally, I used the JUGS challenge to make a card.

I used my new Lawn Fawn stamp set and of course all of these projects have some Twinery twine somewhere on them ;)  I cut the camera out of some of the pattern paper in the pack and mounted it on foam a foam square.
