You're Purrrfect

I wanted to play along in the Paper Smooches Spark Challenge and this time I used a sketch.

Still doing my darndest to use up some of my scraps before the new CHA stuff starts coming out.  This is my Fancy Pants, "It's the Little Things" papers and of course the Chubby Chums set, so cute!  The twine is from The Twinery.  Just a FYI, the heart on this is the negative that was left from the sticker in the kit.  I carefully cut it out and stuck it to the pattern paper then cut it out.  The cat has his paws on foam circles for dimension.

Fascination

I played along with last week's sketch from Creative Scrappers:

Another older photo of Danica but it is one I love.  I used my Echo Park Country Drive papers and stickers.  I also used some tags from Elle's Studio and Shabby Chic Crafts.  The clouds (Going Places), leaves, grass and caterpillar (Walk in My Garden) are cut with the Cricut.  I made some pompoms from some Twinery twine and used them on the caterpillar antennae.

A close up of the twine pompoms.

Farm girls

Wee Memories time again!  This week we are sponsored by Unity... I love Unity stamps!  The challenge is 'Dare to Color' - no less than 4 colors on your project.

Jillibean Soup has another sketch challenge on and I just had to play along.

I was also inspired by the Get Picky Inspiration - to be inspired by butterflies and have more than one photo on the layout.

I used my Blossom Soup paper along with some other Jillibean soup embellishments.  I have used a couple of stamps from the Unity July KOTM and stamped on the pink polka dot paper.  These papers make me think of a farm and sitting on a porch all wrapped in a quilt.  So I decided to scrap these photos of the girls from a few years ago when we were visiting on a farm.  For the background paper, I did random wavy stitching on it to give the feel of a quilt.

A close up of the grass and the stitching lines.

Celebrate

I haven't made a long card for quite awhile and so I wanted to play in the CAS-ual Fridays challenge, however... I think I 'filled' my space too much ;)

I also incorporated the Scrapbooker's Paradise challenge - I used a journal tag, some twine and some buttons.

I made another card to add to my School stash - obviously for a student who has a summer birthday.  I used the Paper Smooches Sugar Rush set and some Echo Park Summer Days paper.  The tag is from Shabby Chic Crafts.  Finally, this is for the Stamp Something challenge - summer.

Another Top 3 at Two Peas

Yay, my Battleship Island layout that I posted below is one of the Top 3 by Views at 2Peas!

Let's Capture our Memories and Friends with Flair

Time for another Friends With Flair at Unity and I am playing along again.

For this first project I have teamed up my Unity stamps with my DT assignment at Let's Capture our Memories, here is this week's sketch:

I used my American Crafts Campy Trails once again.  I have also used some Tags and Journaling cards from Elle's Studio and Shabby Chic Crafts.  I have used the little mosquito and marshmallows from the Gone Campin set at Market Street Stamps.  Finally the clouds are from Unity - Sunny Happy Skies; and the stamped star is a Unity KOTM.

Now for a couple of cards:

I just got my July KOTM and thought this sentiement worked really welll with this Nikki Silvis paper and cut outs that I have had in my stash (hoarding it, yes I'll admit it).  A CAS card.  The cherries are on foam squares.

And while on the green I used some digi paper to make this card.  The stamps are from Unity of course, the flower is Maya Road.

Oh and a little toot, I got an honorable mention over at Get Picky

Campy Trails Cards

So after making my 2 camping layouts with the American Crafts Campy Trails paper and stuff, I decided to use my scraps to make some cards.

The letter stickers are from Bella Blvd, and the twine is from Divine Twine but the rest is from American Crafts.

And another 'quilt' style card.

Camping with our cat

I loved this sketch by Sketch Support and had to use it.
It was perfect for the photos of our cat... yes we bring her camping with us.  I used the Campy Trails paper and items from American Crafts.  I also included some Elle's Studio tags and Bella Blvd stickers and letters.  The stamps are from Unity (the clouds) and the mosquito - love him (Market Street Stamps).  Of course always some twine from The Twinery!  This is also for the Sketches in Thyme Open Challenge.

Pretty Pebbles Princess Cards

When I saw the sketch this week from Techno Stamper I thought of the Pebbles banners in the Ever After Collection and wanted to use them.  So I am working on building my stash of birthday cards for the kids in my classroom this coming year.

I was also inspired by the City Crafter challenge :

Here are the two I made tonight, which fit the Less is More challenge - button or ribbon.

The sketch from Techno Stamper:

The pattern paper is from Pebbles.  I fussy cut out the banner and the castle.  The journaling spot is from Pretty Little Studio.

I was also inspired by this sketch from The Sweet Stop (although I fudged it a bit)

Again more fussy cutting and the flashcard is again from Pretty Little Studio.

Some CAS Pebbles Cards

Today I wanted to use some of my Pebbles Floral Lane scraps and stickers so I just started playing with some punches and the scraps and I made 3 cards.  This is for Amy's Scrap Your Scraps Challenge.

This one uses some Prima Flowers and the PTI edger dies.

Again some Prima flowers and letters.  The little brown bag is from my stash, I just cut it down.

And finally some Martha Stewart Punches and PTI ribbon.  All cards use some twine from my stash as well.  This was actually the first card I made and I used the Pals Paper Arts sketch as a starting point.

Truth be told I am trying to make room for some more goodies and one of my absolute favorite CHA releases is the Pebbles Fresh Goods Line, YUMMY!
