Cherish

I finally completed my CHA projects and they will be mailed tomorrow.  I must admit, I did find it a bit difficult creating projects for CHA since it was my first time.  Hopefully the next time will be a breeze ;)

It is my turn to come up with the card challenge over at the Scrap Shotz forum and I decided to go with New.  This is very open to interpretation such as using some new product or going with a 'new' theme (New Years, New baby, etc). I pulled out my new Love Story collection by Echo Park to create a very feminine card.  The journaling spot is from Jillibean Soup and the twine is by May Arts.

Paper Crafts 75 Creative Challenges

I am just sharing the two cards that I had published in the Paper Crafts 75 Creative Challenges.

This first one is in the fabric section.  I used some Pebbles, my Cricut and the red tab and belt loop from some of hubby's old jeans.

This card was in the Paper Piecing section and I used some Echo Park paper along with some Unity stamps.

Top Ten Blog Hop

The wonderful Christine Meyer from Practical Scrappers has organized a Top Ten blog hop and I was thrilled to be a part of it.  We have all chosen our top ten projects from the past year to post on our blogs.  Be sure to hop along and visit everyone, some of them have giveaways, there are so many of us showcasing different styles, you will be wowed I am sure!

I had a difficult time deciding on my favorites.  Some of them have been picked up for publication so I couldn't show those ones and of the rest I had chosen 20 projects!  I finally narrowed it down to my Top Ten and I decided to make it a mix of cards, layouts and altered projects.  So here you go:

This one is definitely one of my favorites as the card made the cover of Paper Crafts in May!

Now since I am still so excited about recently joining the Echo Park Design Team, I have a Love Story prize pack up for grabs.

To enter for the prize simply leave me a comment telling me which of these projects was your favorite, easy peesy!

Now if you just happened here by chance you may want to start at the beginning and go back to visit everyone along the way.

A Favorite Photo

I am up on the Pebbles Blog with the second sketch for this month.  I LOVE these photos of my daughter and the Seen & Noted Collection was perfect for them!  I used some of my Marvy snowflake punches, the title is from my Silhouette and I then used some SRM Stickers.

A few close up shots - the sticker on the photo says "Dear Santa"

I stitched down the side to mimic a flurry of snow falling.

I am loving bunches of thread lately.

Now be sure to check out the Pebbles Blog to see what the others have done with the sketch and perhaps you can play along.

Echo Park introduction

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas, we sure did and now time to enjoy some days off.  After working on some DT projects I hope to do a big cleaning/organizing/purging of my craft room.  I usually do it in the summer but it was just to busy and I did not have the time.

Anyhow, I am being introduced as a DT member over at the Echo Park Blog and I am so looking forward to the upcoming year!

Holiday Style Gift Card Holders

I decided to dress up my Gift Cards this year by putting them in some little boxes.  I used my Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 to create the little boxes and then I decorated them with some hand made bows.  Everything is from the Holiday Style collection by October Afternoon, including the sticker tags, gotta love that.

December First

I am so thrilled to have been asked to participate in the December festivities over at Elle's Studio!  I love Elle's Studio products and use them a lot in my projects as they are so easy just to tuck in here and there.  I was sent a lot of the Be Merry tags and such to play with and I had fun with them.  I have also used the Very Merry collection by Echo Park.  The snowflakes are cut with my December 25th Cricut cartridge.  We love December first as that is when we dig out our Christmas stuff and begin the decorating.  My favorites are the homemade things that my kids have created.

Very Merry Christmas

Just making some last minute postal friendly cards.  Luckily they don't have to go far ;)  I used my My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland Collection.

I am playing along with the Paper Players challenge:

Inspired By #54

You have until midnight to play along in my newest Inspired By Challenge.

I took the inspiration literally and used some of my older October Afternoon paper - Holiday Style.  I am need of more 'mailable' cards so I didn't add a lot of 'doodads' to this one.

The Holidays

It is also my day up on the Pebbles Blog and this week we are having a Holiday Cards/Gifts theme all week long.  I have used my Seen & Noted collection to make this fun Hot Chocolate gift pack, complete with mug and Starbucks gift card.  I absolutely love the Seen & Noted collection and love that I can use it for my holiday projects too!  I have paired it up with some fun May Arts Metallic String - love the sparkle!  The stamps are from Papertrey Ink.  I cut the Fry Box (Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2) and mug (Love you a Latte) with my Cricut.
