Coffee Shaker card

Another coffee card for me today.  And today I put my Silhouette to use for the mug and sentiment.  I used the Warm and Cozy collection by Pebbles for this fall inspired card.

I made the card into a shaker card using the Simon Says Basic Rectangle die and Crafty Foam Tape from Scrapbook Adhesives Inside the shaker I have.... coffee beans, yes.... coffee beans.  I love how they look in there!  I then used some DODZ to adhere some beans onto the front of the card.  Now this one definitely is not postal friendly but that's ok... I have a bunch of coffee loving friends that are local.

#mood

Once again, got into my craft room before the little cyclone... aka my grand daughter arrives ;)

The die is from Stamplorations.  I mounted the cup on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

Am I skinny yet?

I am having fun with these Art Impressions stamps!  I used the Skinny Yet set along with some Chickaniddy Crafts papers, I thought the ruler background paper was perfect :)  The tags at the top are from the About the Inches stamp set by Unity.

To carry out the theme, I stamped some random sentiments from Technique Tuesday stamp sets(Planner Fitness), ... sort of like a exercise journal.  I colored and paper pieced the image and then mounted her on foam squares.

Coffee with a friend...

I had a bit of time to play this afternoon as my daughter took my grand daughter out for a bit.  Then I had a nap ;)

Anyways I used the Woodland Forest collection by Pebbles along with the Hot Cocoa die from My Favorite things.

The coffee ring stamp is from Darkroom Door.  I stamped a Precious Remembrance sentiment (Coffee Love) right onto the cup.  The grateful is a Simon Says die.  I mounted the cup on foam squares.

Believe in the magic

Played in my craft room before I start the day of chores and playing with grand daughter.  I used some WRMK paper along with a stamp from Art Impressions (Elf Shaker)!  I had fun paper piecing this guy.

I used some washi tape from Little B as well as the believe die from Stamplorations.  The sentiment boxes are just cut from the pattern paper.  Of course I had to add some vellum snowflakes :)

Check out how the little package wobbles, so cute :)

Scatter Holiday Magic

I received some new goodies again and couldn't wait to play with them.  I used the Basic Rectangle die from Simon Says to create a shaker card.  I used the foam tape from Scrapbook Adhesives.  Now, way back when... like... maybe 12 years ago I purchased a few acetate scrapbooking sheets when a local scrapbooking store was closing.  I have been hoarding them ever since.  Today I decided to cut one up an use it on a card.  :)  The paper I used is the Good Cheer Collection from Elle's Studio.  The Washi Tape is from Little B.

I created a little snow scene to go in front of the shaker background.  The sled is the Large Winter Sled from Memory Box and I used cardstock from My Mind's Eye.  The cup and mittens are from the Mittens and Mugs set from Concord & 9th and finally, the sentiment is the Two Feet Deep stamp set from Papertrey Ink.

Playing along with The Challenge - I pulled out the red and blue.

Now I must get ready as I babysit my grand daughter today, so I better sit and have my tea before she arrives ;)

Power of Caffeine

Another CAS card for me?!  It might be becoming a habit ;)

I used some dies from PTI along with a stamp from Art Impressions (Caffeinated). Not much to say about it really... the cup is mounted on foam squares and I used some vellum to die cut the steam.  The cardstock is from CTMH.

From our home to yours

I played with the Snow and Cocoa collection by Crate Paper once again.  This time I paired it with a PTI die (tree) and a sentiment from the Halftone Holidays stamp by Altenew.

I mounted the tree on Foam Squares and added some glitter.

CAS falling leaves...

Playing along with a few challenges today on this very rainy morning!  We were supposed to get quite the wind/rain storm last night but it must have blown by and missed.  Just the rain, no wind.

Anyhow a clean and simple card for me... the Paper Players challenge is what challenged me... you know me, CAS is not super easy for me!  I used the Woodland Forest collection by Pebbles along with a stamp from Impression Obsession (Falling Leaves).

I have to have some texture on my cards :) So I zig zagged some stitching on the leaves and even used one of my stencils (TCW Coffee Splotch) to lightly ink some distressing... I don't ever seem to use my stencils.

Now for the challenges click on images:

I thought the sentiment was perfect for this photo from {Pin}spirational

Now I'm off to make some turkey soup...perfect for a rainy day don't you think?

Choose Happy

Quick post for tonight.  We are in for a big rain and wind storm the next few days and could possibly lose power, had to get my craft on just in case ;)

I went simple with this card and used the Posh collection by Simple Stories. Not much really to say about it, was a simple one for me.
