Inspired By #3

With the terrible weather we have been having I feel like everything is behind here... looking forward to my spring tulips and daffodils!

Here is this week's Inspired By Challenge:

I was pretty literal with mine :)  Gave me a chance to use some of my new PTI stamps.  I could get used to this CAS card making!
I stamped the text background then die cut out the image. The main image is of course mounted on foam squares.

Tea Time

Hi everyone,  I have another tea themed post for you today :)

My friends and I are all tea lovers so I like to make up little gifts of leaf tea... nothing better than leaf tea ;)

This little gift went together quickly.  I just covered a tea tin with some pattern paper from the Hello Lovely collection.  I used my ATG gun to make for an immediate adhesion, but also added some liquid glass for a more permanent coverage.  I then created a coordinating tag. and tied it on.

Hint: when wrapping twine around a tin... adhere a glue dot to the back and use it to hold the twine in place.

I used the letters from the Hello Lovely Compliments to add a label to the top of the tin.  Easy peesy!

For the tag I used this month's Tea-rriffic stamp set... which is only available for a few more days.  I then fussy cut a flower from the pattern paper using the Micro tip scissors and stapled it on.

3 'sweet' cards one sketch

When I saw the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches I knew I wanted to create some simple cards... not an easy task for me :)  I decided to whip up three cards as I really liked the sketch and, well, they were quick and easy... no stitching, staples or pattern paper!

The lined paper is from the Memo Fundamentals collection by CTMH... I like how the lined paper just makes these cards a little casual.   All cardstock is from CTMH love the weight of it!

First up I used the Cookies and Milk stamp and die set from MFT. The top cookie is mounted on foam squares.

Next up... same theme different set :)  I have had this stamp set for a few years and am finally inking it up!  It is from W plus 9.  Again the cookies are on foam squares.

Finally, I had to create a donut card... and add a little 'more' to the sketch so I added a layer :)

The top donut is on foam squares.

Here is the sketch:
